The most basic and simple knitting organization is the basis of knitted fabric organization, namely, weft plain needle, rib, double reverse, chain knitting, warp flat, warp satin and double warp weave.
Knitted fabrics are relatively elastic and can be stretched. Woven fabrics are basically inelastic, and only a few are. Knitted fabric is formed by bending the yarn into loops in sequence when knitting. The loops are intertwined with each other to form a woven object. The yarn can be woven horizontally or vertically when knitting loops. Horizontal knitting is weft knitted fabric, and vertical knitting is warp knitted fabric.
Woven fabric is composed of two or more sets of mutually perpendicular yarns. When weaving, it is interwoven with 90 degree angle of warp and weft. The longitudinal yarn is the warp, and the transverse yarn is the weft.
